Lucky No. 7....?

Ok, so I had my surgery and everything is going ok, I guess. I got a cold the day of surgery so breathing is really hard at times, and the post nasal drip is makes me gag, which is really painful when you can't open your mouth. The swelling has stopped going down. Is it normal for it to go down a lot and then just stop?
